Family lore has it that William Montgomery sailed on the Great Lakes in the late 1880's. Unfortunately this is all we know about him as a sailor. He was b mar 1867/68 in Ontario Canada and emigrated to NY state abt 1890. Any help would be appreciated Thanks in advance Ron

William H. Rittenour married Myrtle (Mertie) Welch,married 7-1-1894 at Wheeler, MI. Her father was Jonas Welch and mother was Sarah Gray. Myrtle was born at Henderson in Shiawassee Co.,MI on March 1880. They had a daughter, Clarittia, b 8-19-1901. Have no death record for Myrtle. She must have died early 1900's as William H. Rittenour remarried again and died at Breckenridge,Wheeler Twsp, Gratiot Co., MI 1944. Buried in Ridgelawn Cemetary, Breckenridge, MI. Ira was a "hotel man" and all held various village and township elected positions from 1869- 1911. George mentioned as member of Baptist Church in 1887. Seville Twp VANBUSKIRKS include David, b. 1832, m. 1872 to Martha. My Grandfather was Noval James Morrow he had one brother James. Their father's name was also James. He was married to a Clark from Perrinton. She died in childbirth and is buried in Perrinton. We all lived in Durand Mich. Can anyone help? When my great grandmother died, the two boys were put in an orphanage because my great grandfather could not take care of them.
My paternal grandmother was Nellie Cora Bragg. Her maiden name was Dunkle and she was born Apr. 6, 1878, location unknown. I believe she lived in McBride, Mi. prior to her marraige to Wm Bragg on Apr.16, 1895 in Elm Hall, Mi.. From then on they lived in Blanchard and Alma, Mi. until her death in1947. She is buried in Pritchard Cemetary, Elwell, Mi. What I would like is any information regarding her father and mother and any siblings. I believe Dunkel was her natural father, but the woman known as Aunt Ted (Dunkle) was a stepmother. I do not know where she was born or anything about her previous to her marriage to my grandfather
